Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Service

The Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service is available to all students and staff who require books or publications not held within the MILA Library’s collection. This service enables users to borrow materials from external libraries, including those within the IPTA network (e.g., UM, UKM, USM, UiTM, UUM, UPM, UTM, UIA, and others).

Please note that item availability is subject to the policies and response times of participating libraries and thus cannot be guaranteed.

Before submitting an ILL request, users are encouraged to search the MILA Library catalogue to confirm that the required item is not already available in-house. Requests should be limited to materials that support academic, teaching, or research purposes.

To submit an ILL request:

1. Download the Interlibrary Loan Request Form available on the MILA Library website under the "Library Forms" section.

Please be aware that processing times may vary based on the location and responsiveness of the lending institution.
